Worth Alliance

Practical pathways to dignity, resilience and prosperity.

Worth Alliance is a Kenyan organisation advancing agriculture-based poverty graduation for women and youth farmers.

Vision and mission

Why we exist.

Our vision is to lift families out of poverty through agriculture entrepreneurship as a life-saving intervention.

Our mission is to lift 100,000 Kenyan women and youth out of poverty through agriculture.

Our work sits at the intersection of poverty graduation, agricultural livelihoods, the empowerment of women and youth, market access and community-led resilience. We approach it as partners with the communities we serve, guided by their knowledge and priorities.

Our values

Dignity. Resilience. Prosperity.

Dignity

We do not define people by poverty. We support families to build livelihoods with agency, accountability and respect.

Resilience

We help households withstand income shocks through skills, mentoring, savings discipline and market access.

Prosperity

We focus on income growth, productive assets and enterprise discipline that move families toward long-term stability.

The alliance in our name

Local actors working together.

Lasting change depends on many actors working together. Worth Alliance convenes them around households and their enterprises.

Community mentors

Local people who walk alongside households in the field.

Cooperatives

Producer groups that strengthen records, aggregation and market readiness.

County offices

Local institutions that support extension services and training.

Buyers and partners

Markets, trainers and funders who help sustain progress.

Our team

People who know the communities they serve.

Our team combines local knowledge, experience with agricultural livelihoods, partnerships, and monitoring and learning.
